The xolchixe (Unknown: "tiger sloth" or "lion sloth") is a cryptid reported from the Amazon Rainforest, described as a tiger- or lion-sized, red-haired, predatory ground sloth.[1] It is said to wait by riverbanks to ambush its prey, like a jaguar,[2][3] but is also partially arboreal.[1]
