Persepolis beast

The bas-relief in the Apadana Palace.

The Persepolis beast is an unidentified giraffe-like animal which appears in a bas-relief in Apadana, Persepolis, Iran, created in approximately 500 B.C.. The relief supposedly depicts the animal being presented by an Ethiopian delegation.[1][2]
