The orang-kardil is a cryptid hominin reported from the Indonesian island of Sumatra. Unlike the larger, orangutan-esque orang-pendek, the orang-kardil is described as human-like in both appearance and behaviour—they are said to use fire and hunt with spears, and are alleged to have killed people on occasion. It is more reminiscent of the ebu gogo, and consequently is speculated to be a miniature human species similar to Homo floresiensis.[1][2]
