The Murung River bear is a cryptid bear reported from the Kedang Murung River in eastern Borneo by explorer Leonard Clark. It is described as a large forest-dwelling bear which gathers in large groups along the river once a year to feed on river berries. It can swim, and wil attack boats and claw humans to death.[1][2] Clark also described the beruang rambai and the milne.[1]
