Allen Plaster Photograph

Alleged photograph of the Lake Worth monster taken in 1969 by Allen Plaster, who later suspected that the monster was a hoax.

The Lake Worth monster is a hairy biped reported from the vicinity of Lake Worth in Texas, the United States, described as a cross between a goat and a man. Hoaxes and exaggerations are considered to have contributed heavily to the story of the Lake Worth monster, and Sallie Ann Clarke, author of the primary source The Lake Worth Monster (1969), admitted that much of her book's content was fiction.[1]
