Ivan T. Sanderson was a Scottish biologist and cryptozoologist who's often credited as the co-founder of cryptozoology. He created the Society for the Investigation of the Unexplained which covered various cryptozoological cases.[1] He's also notable for claiming to have witnessed multiple cryptids, including the Olitiau and Mokele-mbembe.[2][3]
