In Search of Prehistoric Survivors: Do Giant 'Extinct' Creatures Still Exist? is a 1995 cryptozoological book by Karl Shuker, dealing with possible living fossils, discussing cryptids ordered by their theorised identity. Widely regarded as one of Shuker's best works, it was very well-received upon publication,[1] and was eventually followed by a greatly expanded companion work, Still In Search Of Prehistoric Survivors (2016).
