Gary Opit is an Australian zoologist, cryptozoologist, and author who hosts a wildlife talback radio show on ABC North Coast NSW Local Radio. Throughout his radio career, he has received reports of cryptids including thylacines, alien big cats, yowies, bunyips, giant wombats, marsupial tapirs, pygmy wombats, New South Wales tree kangaroos,[1] and giant goannas.[2] He has also made his own sightings of a Queensland tiger-like animal.
