Herman Alphanso Regusters (17 November 1933 - 19 December 2005) was an American aerospace engineer, explorer, and cryptozoologist best known for his 1981 expedition to Lake Tele in the Republic of the Congo in search of the mokele-mbembe.[1] During the expedition, Regusters claimed to have both observed, and recorded the call of, the mokele-mbembe.[2]
