Encyclopaedia of Cryptozoology

Corsiopsis chinensis is a kind of perennial saprophyte plant. Only seen in Fengkai County, Guangdong Province, China. It grows on humus soil in dense forests[1]. The sole specimen known as of now was collected in 1974. Since then, no further records have been made[2]. Thus it has been evaluated as Extinct (EX) by IUCN [3].
