Clemente Onelli

Clemente Onelli (22 August 1864 — 20 October 1924) was an Italian-Argentine naturalist, explorer, and writer who has been called a "pioneer of Argentine cryptozoology"[1] for his involvement in the 1922 search for the "Patagonian plesiosaur,"[2] which he privately believed to be the ground sloth Neomylodon listai.[3]
