Encyclopaedia of Cryptozoology

The Bangweulu antelope was a cryptid antelope reported from the swamps of Lake Bangweulu in Zambia, described as a beautiful striped animal. J. E. Hughes claimed to have seen a skin of one.[1][2] Chad Arment suggests that it may have been a bongo (Tragelaphus eurycerus), which is not currently known from Zambia.[3]
