The allghoi khorkhoi (Mongolian: "intestine worm"), frequently called the Mongolian death worm, is a cryptid reported from Mongolia and Kazakhstan. Described as a dangerous, dark red worm-like animal, theories regarding its possible identity include a true earthworm, a snake, an amphisbaenid, and even an arthropod. A number of similar death worms are reported from Mongolia, as well as Kalmykia in European Russia.[1][2]

Similar cryptids[]

Other death worms include the shar khorkhoi, the short grey snake, the temeenii süül, and the winged salami.
